My dear fellow members,
It is a great and unique honor given to me becomes the president of our prestigious Tamil Nadu API I know it is a challenging assignment.
Let me assure you that I will strive sinew to uphold the rich traditions and high standards set by our illustrious past president and all the others in the vanguard of our movement.
I had the opportunity to visit many branches. While the fund of love and affection you showered on me, the cordiality with which you received me, the support that you extended to me and the faith and confidence you reposed in me were short in my arm, the high hopes and expectations you have pinned on me send tremors in my nerves. Your loquacious Dr. a. Muruganathan is left speechless.
I am reminded of the words of Rabindranath Tagore
“Thou hast made me known to friends I knew not.
Thou hast given me seats in homes not my own.
Thou hast brought the distant near and made a brother of a stranger.”
I bow my head to the elders and I salute and thank every one of you the true kaleidoscopic spectrum of our state API for showering this rare honor and I shall not fail your expectation.
The mission ahead is sacred and the sphere of service vast and diverse. May I ask everyone of you to extend your guiding hands in the onerous journey I am embarking on?
Pull me if I err, pat me if I am right, inspire me if I sag and spur me if I act. Let us work together as a team and March forward as a battalion in the battle against quackery and others problems. Please send your suggestions, ideas to run our organization still more efficiently and effectively. I need your blessing, wishes, benediction support and co-operation to implement all our programs and projects.
Let me not brag about my plans but promise that I will earn your kudos on the successful completion of my tenure.

My Dear Prof. Muruganathan,
I was indeed spell bound to go through your several activities completed in just 1 year of your tenure. I have no words to describe your dedication, respect and love for API and its members. In the entire history of API since its formation in 1945 in Chennai till today, no president has done so much what you have done. Your name as the most productive and successful president should go in Guinness book. I do not think any other future president of API will match your activities . Your achievements are unique, unparalleled and I feel you should be presented a special momento along with special felicitation during the next APICON 2015 (Platinum Jubillee) inaugural function at Gurgaon. I will write to Dr. Nadkar our secretary to consider my proposal for your special felicitation at the next Governing Body Meeting.
You must keep working for betterment of API even if you do not hold any position in the Governing Body in the future.
May God Bless you with long, happy and healthy life to serve API and community in general.
